Earlier today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R.1 the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which included Section 2 of the Hearing Protection Act, completely removing suppressors from the National Firearms Act (NFA).

Well it was a good dream that we'd no longer have to have an anal exam to extend the 2nd amendment to own suppressors and SBRs, but the parliamentarian has axed these two measures. So unless John Thune grows a spine, or JD Vance steps in, there's little that can be done from what I understand.

The dichotomy of being within a demographic that is purportedly tactical, tough guy, masculine, guns, outdoors, self-reliant, hunting, and watching them behave economically and politically like little girls, is one of the saddest experiences of my life.
