HOA/Short Act Update 6/26 ☎️ these 💩 and yell at them more

Phuck these phucks AND their registration schemes.

Let me tell you how I really feel….make tar and feather stocks great again. It’s our culture so it’s mostly peaceful
I propose the following amendment (to make it past the hide parliamentarian) 'make tar, feather, and stocks great again. Why settle for 2 methods when a simple comma can make it 3?

I actually hope the bbb falls on its face now. It was jacked up to begin with like all other bills. But at least it had something fun in it ( even though I’m in Kalifornia Stan and it doesn’t matter).
Now I just want to see it all burn down. Metaphorically not actually peacefully.
Agreed. BBB is dogshit, but threw us a bone. The current incarnation should go down in flames.

Things that make you go hmmmmm

new article today ... registration stays taxes go ... includes verbiage for making tax

New Senate Budget Language Would Scrap Taxes on Suppressors, Short Barrel Firearms

By Cam Edwards | 10:01 AM | June 28, 2025

After Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough ruled that the language repealing the taxes and registration requirements for NFA items like suppressors, short barreled firearms, and "any other weapons" could not be included in the One Big Beautiful Bill, Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) and others quickly floated an alternative: zeroing out the making and transfer taxes, while keeping the registration requirements in place.

That language has now been included in the text of the budget bill that's slated for a preliminary procedural vote in the Senate later today (you can find it on page 491).

The new language would zero out the making and transfer taxes on suppressors, short barrel rifles and shotguns, as well as "any other weapons", which should satisfy the demands of Second Amendment organizations NRA, GOA, SAF, FPC, American Suppressor Association, F.A.I.R. Trade Group, and the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers; who released a joint statement on the reconciliation bill Friday night.

If it burns all down they'll just write a continuing resolution that's "bipartisan" and do all the same shit anyways

They'd just call the ATF and FBI on you. And shoot your dog and perhaps wife and son if your stance was about homemade SBSs.
Did it to an old Air Force vet in my County who called out pedophile Biden for being a traitor and kiddy-tickler.

FBI showed up to his house early am and gunned him down, with Bearcat APC in support as neighbors wondered what was going on.

This was the only thing in the bill I was really looking forward to.

To add insult to injury, Mike Lee placed the land grab back into the bill last night, so it isn’t like they can’t modify it.

I lit up all the Senators yesterday, since I’m a State and County delegate (nobody cares unless you’re a donor).

Well, if the parliamentarian makes law now saying it isn’t a tax, then what is the NFA?

Its proposer, faggot retard Harold Stille Cummings, said it was unconstitutional, but Congress could work around the unconstitutionality of the NFA on day one of the 1934 hearings by making it a tax, thereby still technically allowing the peasants to buy the listed items.

His Asst AG then went on to explain to the Ways and Means committee that if they made the tax exorbitant, the peasants would effectively be banned from owning the listed items anyway.

The NFA is a giant paper tiger legally that is so easy to dismantle if it went before a semi-coherent judge.

Imagine if these senators went home and a whole bunch of angry republicans were in their yard screaming for blood. They might actually do what they promised then.
That's exactly when you will find out who the police are paid to serve and protect.
Hint: It ain't you and I.
Example: Paul Ryan's neighbor. Look into it and find out why he punched Paul in the face. Then see what happened to him. Also Jan 6 people. No fair trial, all judicial rules and rights violated.....

her?

I mean I strongly STRONGLY dislike the guy's political views but..

Or are you talking about the parliamentarian that shouldn't be, as in a position at all?
I seen a picture that was referred as broad but that looks like someone bitch.

Another example of the spineless Republicans, if the parliamentarian was a Republican and the Dems had control of the Senate, she would have been replaced the first day of their new session. Thune should have replaced her on day one, she has torn that bill to pieces, and they knew she would and let it happen. The Dems are sitting back laughing their asses off.

They arnt laughing. They are crafting legislation for $2,000 tax stamps among other things.

Republican Party is a special kind of retard.

I see you’re new here. It’s ok. I remember my first time on the internet.
I’m 40…. Been online since 1998, spent almost a decade in the Army, trust me I know how to cuss. Unfortunately it still comes out at times when I’m extremely frustrated or angry.

Yelling at them on the phone to put it back in as about all we can do. I think what will happen if the same thing that happens every year which is a continuing resolution.

TBH, I think our only real and effective course of action in restoring our gun rights, going forward, is "litigation..." We sue the crap out of them. Because it's clear that both the "Executive" and "Legislative" branches just aren't going to help us. Frankly, I think they want things the way they are, at present. They want us to not have guns or gun rights, in order to control us.

Hopefully, we can put together some c;lass actions on things like Red Flag laws, Civil Asset Forfeiture and the NFA. And, hopefully, we can put some financing together to fund these class actions. But we also have to be smart about it as well, and do the very same kind of "judge shopping" the dems are doing right now. Hopefully Pres. Trump will appoint a few more conservative judges that will help us along. It's clear we can't depend on the legislature. Not unless we make the true concerted effort to "Primary" their RINO asses out and get our people in.

We got some work to do, folks!

They put Crenshaw's amendment stopping Medicare funds from being spent on transgender surgeries back in the bill but did nothing on the HPA and SHORT act.

Here's what I wrote my two senators and Thune:

You can override the Parliamentarian and put Senator Crenshaw’s amendment banning Medicare funds from paying for transgender surgeries back in the Reconciliation bill but ignore gunowners.

If you can put Senator Crenshaw’s amendment back in the Reconciliation Bill, you can also override the Parliamentarian and place the ENTIRE HPA and the ENTIRE SHORT act back in the Reconciliation Bill.

Stop the unconstitutional tax AND the unconstitutional registration. The only reason that registration existed in the first place was to ensure that the tax had been collected. So, there is no need for registration if the tax disappears.

Fire the anti-gun Parliamentarian!

If you ignore gunowners again we will ignore you the next time you are up for reelection.

Here's the link to contact your senators and Thune.

Kalifornia says “ first time?”

Here's something that baffles me. How is it that the house will vote on a bill, pass it, then it moves to the senate. The senate changes things, removes things, adds them, ect, and then they vote on something that's different than that the house sent up to them. How is that constitutional?
The two chambers then have to reconcile the differences. So more negotiation.

They voted to begin debate on the "proposed" changes. They propose changes then vote on whether or not to debate the proposed changes before voting to send it back to the house who will vote on whether or not to pass it or change it again.

There are a lot more steps in the process than School House Rock teaches us. I don't recall School House Rock telling me about the parliamentarian but it's been a while so maybe I need to watch it again.

The House passed a version of the bill by a single vote on May 22 – but the lower chamber will have to approve the measure again after the Senate finalizes its changes.

Youre an idiot if you think we can put together civil suits against the government......they have endless funds....we don't. This is about effective as making phone calls.

We could demonstrate.....oh but everyone has to work.....as usual because I guess no one has any PTO or vacation days saved up to take off a few days and go protest DC.

Doc

Then what's the alternative? Because, obviously, what we are doing now (getting the legislatures to do it) isn't working. And I don't think it ever will.

It's why I suggested "Class actions." Yes, a single litigant probably can't afford to take on the govt. But a class? And while the govt. might seem to have endless financial resources, and be able to delay things as long as they can, still, a court proceeding's time is not infinite. Eventually, it does come to an end. And we can budget for that (both time and expense).

I'm not staying it will be easy. It will take time, $$$ and strong effort. But it's clear to me that it's the only legal way, now, to get this done "Legal," I say. There is one other alternative. But are you ready for the consequences of it? Are you ready to accept all the "wet work" needed for it? So, either we prepare for that alternative, or we organize an effort to replace the legislators with people aligned with our values.

Target those who are known to block the will of the people, in ways that are irrefutable on S/M that will morph into the MSM. The bulk of the so called voters still think fair play is around, when in fact it went out the window when elements of the US gov killed JFK. Until you play on your opponents level,... using their rules or no rules at all, you'll always just be the dog on their leash.

I'd like to see the House kill the whole fucking thing, and make them restart from scratch. Then target those who stuck their foot out in ways that are while still semi/or fully legal, but is some of the most underhanded shit they have ever seen.

But, would you do so at the risk of not making Trump's tax cuts permanent? And risk the explosive tax hikes for that? Even the RINOs know if that happens, they are toast. They'll have to do something to keep this bill alive.

A phone call......🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

That's a good one. Needed a good laugh tonight at work.

Yeah, tell me how those phones calls work out for you.

Yup I agree. You never get a chance to talk to the that politician because he/she is out drinking the money. It’s always their little minions helper that put it on a scratch and sniff piece of 💩paper.
