Sounds like the guy just actually felt bad and didn’t know how to process the fact he had those thoughtsWe've had 2 noted incidents there w/ dirtbikes and always park at that trailhead. We take 34hr brake there, park , spend the night, and ride all day. Lots of meth'd out looking people come and go there.
6/21 - At that trailhead we finished riding, came out to parking lot, loaded bikes up and were sitting between our trucks maybe 15 min (not visible to trailhead) and a guy in a ghillie suit, painted face, and sniper rifle (Big PRS, not hunting rifle) walks out with another guy in jeans and white tshirt behind him.. He was parked right beside me in some ratty old service mini van w/ WA plates. I noticed him and told my friends... like WTF? He went to the back of van and could hear him drop mag and cycle the bolt and eject shell. It seemed off. I dismissed it as someone probably making youtube videos.
10/12/22 - We rode up the side of that mountain (3 guys on dirtbikes) and passed a hunter... then rode down the other side (quite a ways), stopped at a clearing and Y at a gravel road. We had been sitting there maybe 10 min and that hunter approaches us (with rifle slung on back) and said this, along these lines - "I seen you ride by and had some really bad thoughts, I wanted to come over and apologize or having such bad thoughts, people wait all year and take off work to come out here and hunt and your motorcycles scare everything away... again I want to apologize because I had some really bad thoughts when you passed me up there."
He repeated himself a few times, I get it, but he seemed like a psycho.
Im patiently awaiting them to release the guys pic.
our leadership is allowed to buy votes to keep/put them in office, as well as take money once in to line their pockets for their votes on XYZ bills,... its as simple as that. Our republic is in serious danger because
You would have to be a total moron to think you have to be a moron to recognize a moron.Takes one to know one.
Yeah, lets go ride with noisy, smelly dirt bikes through a hunting area during hunting season. What can go wrong?
The problems comes from years of letting brush and smaller pine trees choke everything out. I.E. We prevent natural Forrest management by putting out fires. The trees that aren't meant to dominate begin to dominate. These trees become ladder fuels that move the fire into the canopy of trees designed to survive wildfires due to their thick bark on their trunks.Say what now?
Hell No!Maybe the best possible strategy is to let all forest fires burn and just try to save the people and animals.
Hell No!
just because it hunting season doesn’t mean no one else gets to use the woods. Public lands.Yeah, lets go ride with noisy, smelly dirt bikes through a hunting area during hunting season. What can go wrong?
If I have invested the same amount of time and money to go hunt and some riders came through on dirt bikes, I would have some murderous thoughts myself.
Strange right ?Ever notice how these high profile shootings take place about the same time that any pro-gun legislation is advancing?
Its a dirtbike and ATV trail.. You'd think they's post a sign up saying its hunting season or something. It isnt my job to see what activities other people are up to. I pay as much attention to hunting as I do the tea market in china. How would anyone know? Anyway... I get it. I could swear just off the trailhead into the trail there was a big sign that said no hunting or firearms... but then this sign in the parking lot.. idk?

We don't get a whole lot of time to hunt. It is your land too, but it's a cunty thing to do if you have any respect for your fellow users. Good chance that trail was built with hunting dollars for you to enjoy. No wonder the country has gone to shit.just because it hunting season doesn’t mean no one else gets to use the woods. Public lands.
Whats really interesting is when you spend more time recreationally in an area and a few weeks out of the year, some jackasses dressed in camouflage that smell like deer piss think they own they woods.

not like riders are riding every square inch of the forest. not even close. even a 50 mile system of trails is taking way, way less than a square mile of land. plenty of opportunity to get well away from any trails. and a number of the groups i'm aware of actually spend a fair amount of time on trail maintenance. i hunt and ride and see no reason for limitations on either. We don't get a whole lot of time to hunt. I'm just saying letting it all burn at once is not a good thing but management in small sections at a time with some common sense which the States out west don't have an ounce of is is the way to go. Allowing selective harvesting is a great thing although it looks like a unsightly disaster area but in a few years it promotes a whole of wildlife almost immediately.![]()
Fire experts say mismanaged, choked forests need to be cleared out
“Forest management is a lot like gardening. You have to keep the forest open and thin," said Mike Rogers, a former Angeles National Forest supervisor.www.nbcnews.com
You sound like one those city type who wear pink camo and lives in apartment with pruis. It's never a bad thing and they prolly have just as much rights to ride as any hunters sitting and waiting. Almost every time they do you better be ready as this just pushes and move whatever the fuck you hunting.Yeah, lets go ride with noisy, smelly dirt bikes through a hunting area during hunting season. What can go wrong?

They are out there, especially along the PCT. Sadly, gov will not go in there and get rid of them. People like to sweep it under the rug but they out there. Cartel and illegal growing that is.I have a friend who installs high voltage transmission lines. Someone in the company he works for was out in the woods, inspecting for transmission line installation. He was shot in the back with a rifle. Police believe it was an individual protecting illegal grow operations, typically Mexican mafia where we are on the west coast.
These people are everywhere. Always something that’s bothered me in hunting season. You wearing orange, someone likes to think animals ain’t comp enough and decides to go full up camo ghillie in the woods and you walking around with a bright Orange target on your back. Hell even hiking during hunting bothers me because most of the time it’s shared land and people stomping along trails would be easy. We've had 2 noted incidents there w/ dirtbikes and always park at that trailhead. We take 34hr brake there, park , spend the night, and ride all day. Lots of meth'd out looking people come and go there.

Yep. Agreed. But nobody wants to start it and if yo do you’ll be labeled a crazy terrorist. But I’m inclined to believe that’s all that will get their attention these days. Were you aware of the no kings parade in AL? How about that Mayor Woodfin was proud of them? How about the crazy lefties battle plan to literally turn the SE blue?our leadership is allowed to buy votes to keep/put them in office, as well as take money once in to line their pockets for their votes on XYZ bills,... its as simple as that.
The premise in/of the script for the movie "Shooter" is the reality of this country's system. The only thing that will ever change it is what took place in the last 10 minutes of that movie. The public thinking their voting is for change is laughable, & if you think those inside will be voting for term limits, you need time on a couch.
Yep. Found him later last night, except witnesses claimed there was more than one.The shooter deceased according to the morning news
Yep. Interesting huh?Ever notice how these high profile shootings take place about the same time that any pro-gun legislation is advancing?
They have started managing on CPW land controlled by the DOW here in CO. They use a machine to chip the unwanted trees right down to the ground pretty much. Leaving the ponderosa pines.I'm just saying letting it all burn at once is not a good thing but management in small sections at a time with some common sense which the States out west don't have an ounce of is is the way to go. Saw none around me, but I'm sure in the liberal belt down south between Ms & Ga. there was, as well as the cluster fuck known as Madison co. They need to rename that shit hole, little Ca. The fucks coming in there to/for Red Stone & the rest of the MIC is sicking,...Yep. Agreed. But nobody wants to start it and if yo do you’ll be labeled a crazy terrorist. Not that I'm blaming you for anything, but WA state did this recently to the area we hunt. Developed a mt bike trail system through the mountains I've hunted for 17years, my father in law has hunted them for over 40yrs. The area use to be 70% sucess rate, last year it was down to 9%. Im sure none of the mountain bikers understand why everyone hates them.
So it's not a requirement for you to know the rules and hunting seasons, but please understand that the states are doing their best to limit opportunities for us and end hunting as we know it.
We all share the resources.

There may be way more to this event than is being told,...
You don't even know where I am talking about, and no, the roads/trails I am talking about were not blazed or funded by deer hunters. We don't get a whole lot of time to hunt. It is your land too, but it's a cunty thing to do if you have any respect for your fellow users. Good chance that trail was built with hunting dollars for you to enjoy. No wonder the country has gone to shit.
The suspect has been identified as Wess Roley, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press on Monday. The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the investigation.
A few news sources are quoting the cops as saying the shooter had a “sniper-like” setup.Ever notice how these high profile shootings take place about the same time that any pro-gun legislation is advancing?

Many have adhered to the three S's all their lives as taught to them by their kin,... or learned via self preservation. What happens w/o detection, never happened,... I don't recall where but that was on the TV screen, at a Holiday Inn Express somewhere,...There are some folks (particularly since COVID) that are hiding out in woods that you really don't want to make contact with.
I seen that up there in WA. while setting up steel once out in the hills. A truck full of Mexicans, sitting full in the truck bed also, had no gear or anything else with them. just a truck packed in Mexicans, came cruising on past us. There was Zero AG or anything else up there, and it just gets more rugged the the further out you get past us . All you can do is just look at the situation and say WTF ?I have a friend who installs high voltage transmission lines. Someone in the company he works for was out in the woods, inspecting for transmission line installation. He was shot in the back with a rifle. That’s happening in states all across the US.Not that I'm blaming you for anything, but WA state did this recently to the area we hunt. Precisely why I said in another thread that this land sale is about so much more than people realize.I'm in the da woods by myself a lot day time and night time.....been through the hunting thing with others while shooting, been through the camper thing while shooting, been through the pissed off land owner, been through the stumbled on grow site, been through the illegals camped with guns (crop workers), have had a mether or few stop and want to talk (see what is available to steal) been shot at for being in the wrong area and folks wanted me gone.
I like the comments about it's my area too. Yet they lack a certain practical understanding that some people are far more serious about it than you are.
* One can drive from the Mexican border to Canada on back roads if one has great maps / removal of head hands and feet + fire + a hammer for the teeth and misshaping of the skull + scatter a few miles away. Throw the remaining chunk over the edge and drag it down the hill 50 yards and tuck it under the brush - critters will take care of the rest. Problems can be solved easily out there, especially if one is just movin through the area. There are some folks (particularly since COVID) that are hiding out in woods that you really don't want to make contact with.
Probably a god send if that’s what he was using. Likely zero firearms on that hill. Most cops handle traffic or hang by the road on our fires. Caught in open ground, unarmed and unsuspecting. Had it been better equipped and on a vantage point you’d be lucky if anyone made it off the hillSheriff Norris had a press conference today at 2:00. He said the guy was using a shotgun with slugs and they found fragments of a smaller caliber but not confirmed at this time.
A young dude with his hair grown out doesn’t instantly mean tranny lol. Lots of guys running around with girly hair.So... tell me that the little wizard was not in "Trans transition?"
Seems like the trannies just won't stop shooting people...
