It does look like it good job for reboot remake, but just because you can, does not mean you should.

God damn is everything a remake anymore? Can’t they come up with something original?
I said 25 years ago working at Blockbuster putting myself through college that Hollyweird was out of ideas.
There are a ton of good books to make movies out of. We don’t need a sequel, reboot or remake of everything.
I think they just need some decent directors.
Just watch the original, not the Ghey remake.
So many books across every subject you can think of. I have no idea why they are rehashing this stuff, it is never better.
Remakes are safe. That’s part of the reason that every movie is now a “franchise.” Original ideas are scary, unproven, and very risky. But, The Fast and the Furious XVII and Mission Impossible 34 are instant winners. Just like reskinning CoD and shipping a “new” game. The audience is already built.
Agreed, once in a blue moon we get a decent new flick. But it's rare.
And get rid of the virtue signaling, DEI, grooming, and other woke BS and make movies that entertain and provide escapism and enjoyment.
No one pays a shit ton (what’s a movie ticket now? $20?) to get lectured for two hours and told they are bad because they aren’t brown and don’t suck dicks.
Hollywood could be rolling in $$$ because in troubled times, movies are an escape. Instead, they are a bunch of leftist social engineering cucks.

He was such a smarmy slimeball. He was perfect!! And everybody who watched it could see that The Guy easily could have become the Game show host of the post apocalyptic Los Angeles, Running Man show.
That can never be re-created!!!
