The problem is they are often primaried by candidates that will never win a general election. So that just gives a seat to a Democrat. For example, Lara Trump could perhaps win a Republican primary in North Carolina. Anyone believe she could win the general election?

The only actual useful information in the video is between 5:33 and 6:15 which summarizes as "it's an amendment, it may not pass the house but if it passes the house there is no way of knowing if it will pass the senate or the parliamentarian" ... literally about 45 seconds of actual information.
He rambles on about who can remove the parliamentarian but doesn't peep a squeak about who can overrule the parliamentarian.
While they have counted on that before and we got Obama and Biden. I say they can get it done now or bring on the midterm blue wave. I’ve been waiting to vote out John Cornyn for years anyhow. In case you haven’t noticed Democrats and republicans are united in maintaining power and infringing on your rights.
I hope they fail to pass anything, so they have to start from scratch.
But make sure the "right" person takes their place.... the person aligned with our 2A and other financial values.

I believe the Clyde amendment was proposed but never added.
That was always a possibility when the tax was $200.
Via the courts, we can sue for removal of any records or registration and application processes since they violate 1986 FOPA.
Either way, common use can’t be argued against as NFA items proliferate.
We’ll take every yard we can get towards the end zone.
If you had asked anyone in the firearms community when I was a kid if in the future, we would have:
1. Concealed carry so common that many States dropped the permitting process
2. AR-15s flowing like a river from about every major manufacturer for decades
3. Suppressors so common as to be considered a given among many shooters
4. Shorter semi auto firearms with back-end furniture that basically makes SBRs pointless
5. FRT triggers that make FA kinda pointless
You would have been called a dreamer or an idiot, that none of those things would ever happen.
Now we’ve just eliminated the $200 infringement from the NFA process for cans, SBRs, SBSs, and AOWs.
Was my body ready for total elimination of those items from the NFA? Of course.
The registration process like we’re John Dillinger is retarded and was unfounded, even by their own claims the moment they gunned Dillinger down within weeks of the NFA hearings. (July 22, 1934)
