My nephew’s company, out of Raleigh. They roast many profiles but all are indeed coffee and not “flavored coffee product” 😁

He brought me this new one a couple of weekends ago when we stayed at my cousin’s 1850s homeplace in Wytheville for a festival.

Our room 😊

Nice. How well I remember getting splinters from sliding across those pine floors.

I didnt know this. Anybody know if its real?

I've done enough custom cabinet work to know the video is complete bullshit.

Whatever "wood" species is used in the video is NOT a standard wood species I have ever worked with.

90 degree "bends" in normal, real life woodworking would require multiple laminations and I've never seen a hardwood bent that much with simple hours of steaming.

Total bullshit.

Happy 4th of July !! 🇺🇸

Grills ready.
Beers in ice chests chillin.
Rib Eyes looking awesome
Assalt gun loaded with premium salt.
Swimming pool clean , Ph checked !

Time to celebrate 🍻 🇺🇸 🍻 🇺🇸

We have Top bows for antique car convertible tops steam bent to 90degrees all the time. Tight radius. They are oak, but not sure if red or white.

Done down in Amish country. They have big pressure cooker tubes to do the bows in. And Jigs to form around. Give them a dimension and a radius and they do it! Look how tight the radius is on an antique car convertible top.

Not saying this video is real…. But it can be done without laminate..

Cheers! Sirhr

Waiting on a small town Wisconsin Independence day parade to start. Really is one of my favorite things. Happy 4th all!

Man, that pic makes me wish that people have to go through an approval process to wear shorts in public! :sneaky:

Kidding obviously. Hope your Independence Day parade is enjoyable and also the food that follows.🇺🇸

I guess no one ever told them it couldn’t be done.

Meanwhile in Kerrville:

Yup, we’re down stream from there near Canyon Lake. Hope this raises the water levels some at least…silver linings.

Also thinking fireworks may be delayed this year…

edit: feel like a shit bag worried about the fireworks and happy to see the water table up earlier today… horrific turn of events. Praying for the victims and their families.

Lost power in Kerrville at 0400, came back on at 1245.
Several homes and a number or RV’s by the river washed away, several cars, people missing, and/or dead. Our club Radio Facility is. Still dry, going back to check this afternoon, as a second surge is expected. There was a hell of a 4th of July party scheduled for the park, which is under 10 ft of water. The stage and sound gear all washed downstream. Some RV parks are right next to the water, which will put them under anywhere from a few feet to 10 feet under water. The water was up to the height of the stripped bark on those trees. This was a serious and sudden flood.

Living by the water can be a wonderful lifestyle, but when a river goes all Mother Nature on you it's anything but.........
