Picked up a gold trigger tech diamond at NRL22 nationals - have now shot 2 matches since then and in both matches my trigger went "dead?" What I mean by dead. Ran bolt/closed bolt nothing. This has happened multiple times.

I am able to push my bolt down more (past normal lock down) and if I hold it there with my finger the trigger will work. also if i run a cloth *scrub on the sear area it starts working again

Any insights/tips other than to go back to my old brand trigger/different brand trigger ?

No - so my terminology is probably off. It acts like it’s on safe when it’s not. And additional down pressure for the already closed blot will allow it to fire.

Shot a match today and no issues so that’s a plus

All I can say is my Vudoo with TT Diamond works fine. Try reaching out to them and they may be able to help with some measurements to see where the problem may be.

I'd say reach out to Vudoo, but we all know how that would go.

What other trigger did you run that didn't have problems?

Does Vudoo exist anymore? Have they opened back up?

I’ve seen to light of settings on triggers cause issues. Maybe increase the pull a bit

And that’s why I said we all now how it would go reaching out to them. MB might be able to help though.

But I’d start with TT. They seem to be good with responses to customers

I have a TT Diamond 2 stage on a b14r that acts up sometimes. It never fails to fire but you can tell that the 2 stage is not engaging properly. I dropped the first stage weight a little and bumped up the second stage weight and it behaved properly for the entire range session. That action is out having a new barrel spun up for it but when it gets back I plan on lightening the break weight a bit and if it starts acting up again I’ll swap it for a BnA

Not that this is what you're experiencing, but certain early TT triggers didn't work well with the V-22 and other actions due to sear height/engagement. When the problem occurred, it didn't go away unless the trigger was changed, so it doesn't sound like that's what is happening with yours.

Thanks Mike! After cleaning from the match Friday hopefully whatever is going on worked itself out. Shot matches Sat & Sun with no issues so it’s looking promising. Tho I wonder if when money allows to put a spare trigger in my gun 1st aid kit
