Illinois, New York and California are in an all out war for corruption supremacy, and Illinois has been in the top 3 since the 30's. I haven't believed there has been a fair election held in that state in my lifetime. I think it goes:

Kids raised in luxury almost never have a work ethic. There are notable exceptions. Not many people work as hard as DJT, but how many times have we seen a company make it through Grandpa and dad, and they have an excellent company, plenty of innovation, but the third generation never struggled and they tank the company? I hope I'm wrong, but that's what I'm afraid is happening at Weatherby right now. No actual innovation in decades. The best things they've ever done happened in the 40's-60's. The only thing they've done in modern history is rebrand a few existing wildcats that nobody uses, create a mediocre 700 footprint action that nobody wants, and most recently, revive a dead varmint cartridge that nobody wants, and is only available in an expensive tree corpse format. Fellas, it's Illinois. They have a well refined system for making felons out of anyone who displeases the Chicago crime syndicate. They would give you a court date and send you home with a no cash bail for any crime below second degree murder (yeah, that's real), but if you got caught grabbing that flag, they'd probably dust off the electric chair and reinstitute the death penalty for one night only. These people are insane.
