Why the Epstein Files Matter
Today, Trump released a long Truth post excoriating those Republicans complaining about Attorney General Pam Bondi's announcement that no Epstein files existed and no lists would be issued. Trump went further, claiming that the lists and the Epstein affair were fabrications of the previous Democrat-led deep state. Ignoring the obvious attempt to gaslight Americans regarding the Epstein crimes, there is a much larger reason to be concerned with the 180 committed by a Trump team that promised full transparency and accountability for previous crimes. The United States is dying exactly because of the many "Epsteins" around the world, and the man hired to take on this existential crisis - Trump - just walked away from the monumental task of taking them head on.
Imagine for a moment that you go to a doctor because you have an upset stomach. The doctor runs some tests and finds that you have a stomach tumor. Thankfully, he said he will treat the tumor before it kills you. As you prepare for surgery, the doctor tells you, "There is no tumor."
You know there is a problem. You have seen the images. Your stomach gets progressively worse. Your body is degenerating. You ask the doctor why he will not treat the tumor. His response is that obviously previous doctors lied to you, despite the fact that previous doctors intentionally avoided the subject altogether. Furthermore, the doctor tells you to be grateful that your stomach still digests tasty food:
"Shut up, patient. This is all in your head. Enjoy your cheeseburgers." You are dying, you know you are dying, the doctor who identified the problem told you that you were dying, and then, that same doctor just walked away.
In effect, that is what Trump just did to the 78 Million Americans who voted for him.
He told them there was a problem. Trump was right. He promised to fix the problem. Trump was right to do so. He pointed out the existing evidence. Trump was right, again. Yet, at the critical moment necessary to finally address the issue, Trump walked away from the crisis - and blamed his supporters who are rightfully disappointed.
The fact about Epstein is that he was not the only "Epstein." Yes, Epstein was grotesque, but the man himself was not the true crime or criminal. The true criminals were the myriad of powerful people in the United States who - due to their sexual perversions - found themselves blackmailed and ultimately sold out the American people to protect themselves. They betrayed us and Epstein's true client, likely Israel, was able to direct American policy in a direction that has devastated our future. They helped set a tumor within us and now we are dying. Those who betrayed our trust and killed these United States will walk away, unharmed and unaccountable.
How many young boys died in Iraq because Epstein had dirt on a Senator? How many billions of dollars were funneled away from our deeply indebted country to another country because a Congressman preferred the sexual pleasure of an underage girl? How many homeless veterans sleep on the streets while billion-dollar weapons systems go to Ukraine thanks to the homosexual proclivities of a senior official? How many working class homes have been foreclosed upon because a Federal Reserve governor was naughty and someone wanted to short the market?
The one person who could have addressed this issue and by extension, identify the traitors who betrayed the American people for sexual pleasure, just walked away from his responsibility. He just helped those who betrayed all of us. Worse, he then chastised us for being upset that he betrayed that trust.
Many of you thought Trump was the doctor we needed. Now the tumor remains and you - the dying patient - will have to endure the continued degeneration of the body that was once healthy and vibrant, until the Epsteins of the world destroyed it.
Trump failed us. There is no excuse for that kind of betrayal. Somewhere, many of those who harmed us are smiling, knowing they won - again.
