I am looking at a short barrel set up in either 22 arc or 6mm arc. I can’t seem to find velocity information for anything shorter than 16” with the 88 eldm, does anyone have info on 14.5” or 12.5”? Also for 6mm arc does anyone have realistic velocity for an 11.5” (considering a rtr craddock but mainly only see data down to 12.5”).

Talking about ar pressure not bolt gun.

Pretty sweet little package. Mine is 6.6lbs with optic and suppressor. Killed a 200lb boar with the 70gr CX factory ammo yesterday at 75yards. He dropped on the spot.

I've got a SBR 22 ARC build in the workss, the Bartlein barrel will be between 12.5" - 13.7" with mid length gas, haven't decided which length to go with yet. I plan on running 73gr and 75gr ELD's. No plans of going any heavier because that's what my 6 ARC's are for.

22ARC AR 12.5” KAK

Factory
88s 2400
75s 2560
70cx 2600
62s 2780

Handloads
75eldm 2650 with lever
69.5gr hammer hbc 2750 with lever
How's this barrel been? Ever play within anything lighter? I'm looking at the same, to even shoot slightly lighter bullets for coyotes. My load for my 18" is 60TMK over H4895.

You should be able to push a 60tmk at 2800 or more in the 12.5”

This barrel has pretty much shot 4” 10 shot groups with everything I’ve tried at 100yds. Although that’s not great it’s been plenty accurate for shooting pigs out to 200yards. Receiver set is a 2a Palouse lite. The gun runs smoothly for a light setup light setup. The carbon hand gaurd and barrel nut weigh 4.5oz total so running a bipod off that is one reason the accuracy may be off. When I get a chance I’m going to run a heavier nut and hand gaurd to see if that helps with accuracy. Also looking into a 60 freebore reamer instead of Sammi for my bolt gun 22arc project to run factory ammo.

That's interesting, my KAK 12.5" 6mm ARC was between 2" and 3" at 100yds with most of the loads I tried... Not what I was looking for accuracy wise. My $75 5.56 barrel in the same length and profile is good for half that though... maybe KAK has issues with getting decent ARC barrel accuracy.

Yea my $45 BCA barrel with a cheap poly lower will shoot 1.5” 5 shot groups with Handloads.
I saw where a shop was using a 60 freebore reamer instead of the Sammi 131. They were saying the 60 shot all factory ammo much better. So I may go that route with my bolt gun for factory ammo. Although that doesn’t explain the lack of accuracy with your 6ARC bbl. I was definitely hoping for a little better myself.
