90% of guys use their front bag (smedium, plus one, FC, ect) and probally 10% carry a seperate rear bag this is also a smedium or similar with a ligher fill.
I use my front bag almost all the time. Heavy sand just settles better and is more stable than spex or poly fill. Even thought you need more time to settle it, its worth it IMO. I almost always shoot worse with a ligher fill as rear bag.
