I read the article?? WTF? From what I understand, they are unhinged over a book for advance placement English students titled “642 things to write about?” And they are saying that a couple of the “things” that the budding authors “might” write about are creating child porn?

Holy crap, we all had to read “Go Ask Alice” in the 8th grade and it was about a 15 year old girl who drops acid, loses her virginity, turns into a smack ‘Ho and OD’s…. Because it was supposed to scare us straight.

Not to mention our collections of Playboy and Penthouse… like in the late ‘70’s when it was really nasty. I won’t even go into Beaver Hunt.

And these idiot parents are worried that college bound seniors in a college level English creative writing class get a book in which two of 642 writing ideas suggest writing a story about sex?

WTF is wrong with these masked Karen’s? Too much helicopter parenting? These same parents were probably watching 90210 when half the high school were 24 year old dudes and everyone was banging each other on prime time… and these morons are up in arms over this???

What a bunch of twats…

Their kids are getting groomed by Disney when they are 9. Not by creative writing textbooks and exercises when they are 17.

Though I am sure they will demand “Sally has two Mommies” and “My Daddies are into Cornhole” books will continue to be on the curriculum.

No wonder these fucking kids are Ritalin-dependent school-shooting gender-fluid furry retards. When this is what they have to grow up in!

Sirhr

PS Go Ask Alice probably sold more LSD hits than the Merry Pranksters, Owsley and Timothy Leary put together. Some will get those references!!! And, yeah, The Electric Kool Aid Acid Test was on our summer reading list one year. Along with Kerouac (who couldn’t write a sentence…)
“Go Ask Alice”......when she's 10 feet tall...........

Unless there were 10x more Democrats on there that would be 100x more damaging to them and their donors.

But you are right—there is no list, no files, nothing to see here. Sorry I posted the meme. I am guess I am just "weak" and "stupid" and fell for the "hoax."

Democrats have no shame. Each and every one can be sacrificed.

That works for us normal people. Democrats are anything but normal. They don’t care who is sacrificed for the good of “the party”…kinda like all good communists I supposed. I firmly believe that if Trump was on that list they would have found a way to release that info already.

@Jingoist ...
I remember those not working so well, but this one I recently bought is pretty good. Bottle and bicycle pump not included.

We do something similar with the Cub Scout Pack but dress it up with a mailing tube and use an air compressor and mechanical trigger. Some Awesome heights are reached!

Already exists and tens of thousands of products are widely available!

Millions of retail outlets all over America, too.

We call them flea markets, garage sales and antique shops.

Best part is… no sales tax, no purchase tracking and if you know how to use an analog screwdriver and Kroil, the stuff costs pennies!

My neighbor’s son who absolutely lives in his parent’s basement recently stopped at the Re-Store (sort of a furniture flea market that benefits poor people with donated stuff for sale) and scored a like new Speed Queen washer for $100 😮 which I am trying to buy from him 😈

It is simply a super robust, made like stuff used to be made, heavy, real steel and cast iron, all mechanical beauty of an appliance. Like $2500 new or more.

We have a guy in town that repairs old appliances, cleans them up and tests them to sell in his little showroom. I have bought a couple of things from him and he really appreciates the 70s stuff. He says the mid 80s is when stuff became disposable.

I know I posted here about our modern new range we bought with all the crazy features like air fry and dehydration….and how the keypad went bad the first year 🤮 I plan to replace it with a commercial style with nothing but knobs as soon as possible.

“Pro” stuff has few bells and whistles while the fancy crap is for the dumbski homeowner women driven purchasers.

How about these? Life was simpler back then. :)

The one in the middle... we had red/white ones. I can still remember the day when someone took me over to the garden hose and showed me how those actually worked. I was quite puzzled. It seems like I had them and played with them for years without knowing how they really worked. Maybe they belonged to my older sisters.

That's the craziness of childhood perception of time, it seemed like forever but it could have been one summer.
