I read something on I think Faux, Red State or Gateway pundit last week saying Americans voted to get rid of the criminal illegal aliens not the ‘good ones’ (implied). WHAT THE F? I know…that sounds illogical…but I don’t start working on my cars, yard, or whatever with 5 day old clothes that have been sweat in, crusty ass underwear (assuming these people wear it) or stuff like that. I may be covered in brake dust, motor oil, grease; but by damn I’m not dirty.

I’ll carry regardless except if I fly , don’t see that happening in the near future.
Last time I got stopped , I had my handgun in view between the seats. The cop ran the serial number , gave it right back no problem.

Why did you let the cop have your gun to run the serial number? It's a traffic stop not a robbery pursuit. No search warrant. No gun crime identified. That's weak.

My SOP is to keep all the guns out of sight. And in my state there is no "duty to inform."
So if it's out of sight it is also out of mind.
