Copperheads aren’t super willing to use full boogie venom for most first bites. The first is dry to mild. Even though they are almost the same snake as a Cottonmouth they aren’t aggressive usually. That is why people sometimes get bitten and say they never saw the snake, they step on one that just trying to be still and escape being noticed.
Dogs who grab snakes can sometimes be bitten multiple times and when the snake realizes it is a serious attack they give you the full squirt.
@armorpl8chikn lost a dog to this once I believe.
Fun fact, Cottonmouth snakes and Copperheads can interbreed. They’re called “Cottonheads”.

Been wanting to do models of the "Gadgets" for ages. But never liked the Resin or Styrene kits. Wanted to do metal. And now there is a great pair of kits available. Sadly, Chyna... but there you go. Not like Japan was going to make them!
Unfortunately, the instructions do not seem to have made it through the "Proof Reading" office at the Translator.
Then again, I kind of like the idea that Nagasaki was vaporized by the "American Fatty" implosion device!!

I was a member of 299 back in the early 90s. (Jimmy Hoffa's local, BTW)So what happened to the Teamsters? Because there was a time when a gaggle of Union Truckers would have taken these unqualified pieces of trash out of the cabs ant a fuel stop and beat them senseless for taking American Teamster jobs?
Or are they perfectly happy to collect the dues no matter how incompetent these morons are??
Not that I am a union guy… but this is the sort of thing that unions were pretty good at sorting out? And they sure as hell took pride in being professional drivers… not GPS-following wheel-turners who no speekee English.
Just wondering? Any of you pipe-hitting Teamsters out there have an idea?? We must have some Teamsters here!!

Deregulation of the trucking industry began with the Motor Carrier Act of 1980. It was the beginning of the fall of the union in trucking. So what happened to the Teamsters?
