Adapters for the A&d fx120i scale

Does anyone make adapters for manual drops for this scale?

What do you mean adapters??

You can use the stock lid or buy something like an Area419 thick plexi lid and mount a Lee manual powder thrower to it and manually lift the handle up and down to drop powder right into the cup sitting on the scale....

Yea I was looking for the adapter to sandwich the plexi so I could put my powder drop into that

Or just 2 big nuts just like this on my Lee manual thrower sandwiching this steel stand

What powder cup do you use to keep powder from splashing everywhere is what I want to know.

Are you asking me? I use Ingenuity Precision powder cups on both my A&D setups.

To be clear though, I dont manually drop powder directly on my scale, I have AT V3 throwers on both my scales with the IP V3 thrower adapter...

But, if I was trying to do what the OP is asking, I would mount the thrower on my A&D lid using the 2 nuts as shown in my above picture... then if there was a significant height difference from the bottom of the thrower to the top of my cup, I would purchase a piece of PVC pipe or PEX tubing and heat it up and thread it onto the threaded bottom of my manual thrower them chop the other end to whatever length was just above my cup...

I dont know of any commercial available and sold "adapters" for manual throwers on A&D scales but I could be wrong... Super easy to make something many different ways.

My $0.02 worth... I absolutely would *not* mount any kind of rotary powder thrower directly to the scale. I'd either find or make a thrower stand that sits/mounts off to the side. Throw the charge into the cup, and gently sit the cup on the scale. Or if you must, position the thrower directly over the scale, with a cantilevered arm - but I still *would not* mount it to the scale or the draft shield in any way.

Most powder throwers - in my experience - tend to get 'hung up' or have to 'crunch through' even medium stick powders (Varget/4895/N140/N150/H4350). The only reason the original AutoTrickler got away with using the Lee PPM mounted directly on top of the scale housing was because of the Teflon wipers that particular design employs; it literally *can't* 'cut' kernels like basically any other thrower on the market.
