it is just a normal media thing to get wound up when a pretty Ukranian girl is randomly murdered. an ugly Nigerian girl,not so much. just normal MSM attention getting. either are crimes that should be punished with rapid execution. that the officials that enabled it should receive the same is obvious to some.
as far as fighting on the wrong side,which war? i do struggle to understand which we should have fought in. the Japs attacked us,so no choice there. the debate about why they did goes on. Korea,Grenada and gulf 1 seem to me to be very hard to make a definite answer to. certainly justifiable in many ways. VN,Iraq,Afg,Syria,Panama,Ukraine,Iran should have never happened. wonder if Venezuela will become another Panama?

First we have the Natolee Halloway effect--media loves a blond woman victim. Blond young and pretty and the victim of a violent crime? Chances are every media hound in the hemisphere is gonna be on that story.
But this time she was stabbed by a black attacker (dude its on tape, I'm judging) with a lengthy violent rap sheet. Why was she stabbed? Watch the mofo tape. She sits down for 15s in front of said perp and looks at her phone, he stands up and straight up shanks her with 0 interaction. From behind.
People are pissed, it becomes a story, but national news buries it and ignores it because it goes against the narrative of black people being oppressed by whites--here is a clear example of random unprovoked violence with a racial element that doesn't fit the DEI narrative so effectively our media ignores it. The governor of North Carolina (right here in the US) ignores it as it was his policies that allowed the perp to be out wandering scot free despite his lengthy violent rap sheet. He finally issues a half assed statement and the public explodes about it, but you won't hear it in the news unless its local!
The story gets picked up by Libs of tik-tok--a well known X/twitter account that simply reposts the asshatery of the left to embarrass them. No commentary--just "Look at what the looney left posted today". It does however have the word "lib" in the title so it should be totally sus. We got random hate for that person as well because they are a woman or something (Honestly none of us can figure that out)? (Very sigma) /sarcasm
When posted here, instead of picking up the discussion the first four posts are about the Nationality of the victim, who happened to be from Ukraine. You can replace her nationality with any Ind-European descent and it would not change the outrage. Russian, Canadian, Estonian, French, California, etc.... Its has ZERO bearing on the main facts and the response of "Normal People". We here in this thread don't give 2 shits about Ukraine--its about RACISM AND VIOLENT CRIME IN AMERICA. Now most of us see this as the final twist of irony--a family flees from a war to the "Peaceful" US. According to some reports, young victim picks up the zeitgeist of aforementioned media and becomes a BLM supporter because that's what good Americans do according to the media. Meanwhile the Majority of the country, regardless of whether we support sending money, arms, or posting images on Facebook sees Ukraine as the Victim in this little tiff. They don't ask you to agree, they just think "Hey Russia is fucking jerks" So when a family flees this war, for safety in the US, gets enamored with the culture and then is stabbed and killed by a violent felon on a train, we see a very sad irony. Coupled with the willful ignorance of the media to cover the story because it doesn't fit "the narrative" when any other time they would be having Nancy Grace covering this 24/7.
In other words OF COURSE ITS NOT ABOUT FUCKING UKRAINE. Its about RACISM AND MEDIA IN THE UNITED STATES. None of us care about your little pissing match in Eastern Europe. We care about our country--right here in the US (Canada can come too--Fuck mexico!, NVM fuck canada too)
