Interesting. When the first tranche of subpoenas went out, Acosta's name was noticeably absent, or my research was lacking...going to have to revisit this, as there is no way he discusses the purported quip about being told to stand-down because Jeff's an asset.

I may be wrong, as still sipping coffee, but something's wrong here (dirty bastards) and I think they are merely "interviewing" Acosta behind closed-doors and didn't issue an official subpoena (looking for it now).

He wasn't subpoenaed, because he would have invoked the 5th and refused to disclose 'sources and methods,' so they will simply bring him into a SCIF, do a little back-and-forth dog-and-pony show to give the appearance of leaving no stone upturned, and this is yet another nothingburger.
The very fact he isn't being put under oath in front of the American people speaks volumes...#DaFixBeIn
