    Hello all,

My m70 in .223 has the pin that keeps the ejector be hollow or not solid. It's almost like a tube/pipe pretty much. My concern is, when I try to push it out, I might roll the edges or damage it. Does anyone know any tricks to take these out? Or does anyone know where to get a replacement that is solid?

    Thanks

Needs to be a roll pin. Purchase a set of roll pin punches and you will be fine to remove/reinstall.
I have a set, I'm still concerned I'll roll the edges lol. Am I overthinking it?

This is a Tikka but it's pretty much the same way on my m70.

Yes you are overthinking it. Or you have the incorrect punches. They come in SAE and Metric. If you work on foreign weapons as well as US, having both is advised.

If it's been in there a LONG time, a few drops of kroil the day before you go whacking it will help.
