You do know that Sinn Fein is a socialist party and has always stood for a united socialist Ireland, don't you? Do you also know that Sein Fein was part of the Irish Government that has been letting all the Muzzies in. But my take on them was that they were parroting socialism as a Way to free Ireland from colonialism… and that their socialist leanings were going to last as long as it took to get shit from the Warsaw pact.
Plus aligning themselves with the “soft on the IRA” British Labor party was a way to try and influence the British government… and was working until Thatcher and the Conservatives stomped on Labor in 1980. As long as they were all Democratic socialists” the Brit Lbor party would forgive them and support them.
So… yeah… that was sort of the schtick. But I don’t think they were that committed. Most of the footsoldiers just wanted to kill the British. They never heard of Marx. They were Irish and that was that.
And don’t forget that the Irish aligned the the Nazi’s in WW2 because they were promised autonomy after Hitler took the British isles. So they were Nazi’s too. Or maybe just were willing to say anything to anyone to get what they wanted… which was money and weapons to kill the British.
Sort of like a French Whore who wil sell anything to anyone. Like Exocets. But that’s another story.

Sounds like the person IS financially sound. If the vehicle is functional why replace it? Spending 50K dollars for something that sits in the company parking lot or the driveway at home for 18 hours out of every day is a waste of money. Putting the 50K into an investment account is the best way to use the money. I don't need a new car to impress people today if I walk out of the company with an early retirement at 50 years old and debt free.
