In '84 I bought a 500 Interceptor new. That night I was riding on one of the back roads around the airfield on base. A deer ran out in front of me. Wrecked the whole front end. That sucked.
That brings back some memories I wish I never had…young and foolish in my ‘69 Super Bee racing a buddy in his Camaro through residential streets at 100+ MPH. Those drum brakes were good the first couple stabs and then may as well have been made of wood. I upgraded to factory discs that same week knowing death was imminent without a change. And yes, I beat him
