I picked up this cool little rifle last week on a whim. I was looking for a light weight gun to use inside of 100 yards and had experience with 300 blk (but in an AR platform).

It is the regular B14 action with the standard Bergara (rem 700) trigger.

The barrel is a 4.5 contour and it is threaded - which concerned me a little given the diameter— but no worries, this thing was 1/2 MOA all day at the 100 yards with Barnes 120gr TAC and also Hornady V-max 110gr. I was shooting it suppressed and it was great.

This gun will be an awesome gun to carry and walk through the woods.

I put the LOP extensions on as I am 6 feet tall. The grip is still small in my hands, which I knew it would be.

So here is my plan for the rifle — MDT field stock and trigger tech flat trigger. Then it will be perfect.

I can’t convey how impressed I am with this gun.

Here are my best and worst 3 shot groups at 100 yards

That's impressive for a factory gun and ammunition, especially in that caliber.
No doubt — it blew my mind

The Barnes 120gr had an avg MV of 2124 (package claimed 2100, so right on) with SD of 8 over 20 shots. Just ordered a bunch of this lot number.

The Hornady VMax was faster than advertised at 2470. SD was 13.7 but wasn’t quite as tight on paper as the Barnes.

Subsonic rounds weren’t as good at 100 yards — but were 1/2 groups at 50 yards.
