Best slings for precision 308 AR Semi-Auto

I'm looking for feedback on slings for precision 308 AR Semi-Auto. This is for Precision/LR shooting/comps. I see a lot of guns in pics but sans the sling. I like my TIS slings but they seems a little heavy/overkill for the system. So what do you like?

This is the sling I have on my POF and I've had no issues with it. You can get it at Academy Sports for $15 and some change.

For precision shooting I would get either a TAB or TIS.

+1!! I primarily use TIS slings for precision shooting (bolt guns and semis) where I need the sling for support when shooting standing or sitting. While they cost a little more than some alternatives, you won't find a stronger, more reliable or better sling for precision fire. The Model 2 option allows you to install whatever swivels you prefer or will attach to your rifle depending on the mounts you have on your rifle (flush cups, HK snap hooks, standard or HD sling swivels, etc.).

I vote for the old M1907 leather sling. It works on just about all rifles.

Having said that I have started using the M1 web sling sold by CMP. The reasoning is I'm a CMP GSM MI and teach their use in Vintage Military Rifle Clinics. So I stuck one on my Garand for deministration purposes. Also have one on my AR for the same purpose. If used right they are quite effective.

I have three of your slings on some of my bolt guns, just seemed a little much on my MWS. I still want to sling up for for support. I think you have an idea of what the needs for this type of system. I will look forward to seeing this new sling. As a mater of fact I will buy one sight unseen if you have one availible. Let me know.

25, I am shipping first ones to Triad on Monday, so right after Shot he will have stock. He will do photos on the Hide. I appreciate the offer to buy sight unseen but I want Hide business to go through Triad.

I will be testing the RE25 on one of my M14s soon.

I have made/sewn my own based on exactly what I want, and when it comes time to buy, it will be Blue Force Gear, padded Vickers.

I dont like to be slung, adjusted, streched, looped, attached, and I doubt he could carry me for very long.

H2O post up when you get the test done. I hope I can get one of the first 25 I already PMd Triad so "I think" I may be one of the first in line but that could change.

On my new sling that was shown at Shot I put up photos on my website just before shot and Triad has the slings in stock. Here is link to photos. Not the best photos but you get fair idea.
H2O you got away without a TxE sample but I will get one out this week

No worries, Andy put it on my 16" SEI M14 folder that was on display in their booth... I think Mike took the rest of them back to TACOM-RI.
