Im not opening up the can of worms on how/when to clean but I was wondering what to use for carbon/powder residue? I've read several threads aboue cleaning but they mainly talk about copper. Im using kg 12 for that. I've always used hoppes #9 but didn't know how other felt or experiences they had with this product vs others. Posts ur favs and why! Thanks so much

Butches bore shine is good for everything. For really stubborn cooper I use 5 minutes of Sweets. But other than that, BBS for everything else

sweets for stubborn, benchrest eliminator for normal cleaning, and when i am feeling lazy, i shoot the bore with som sharp-shoot-r wipe out bore foam and let it sit for a bit while i clean everything else.

i had a 7mm rem mag that was really fouled, so i shot some bore foam in it and let it sit overnight, and this is what came out
