Alan, thanks for the deal on the 243. I first took it apart ( that barrel was on TIGHT!! dam-n) Then after receiving the ammo, I thought I'd give it a try. Stuck the 243 barrel back on, then chopped 1/2 of the bolt handle off, damn again, that was fugly, and stuck it in an older style ADL synthetic stock. Shot 3 @ ~ 1/2" right out of the gate...

Went up to acme for some shooting today. Had sun, & a few clouds down low, but when I got to acme there was 8"-10" of snow up there. As I didn't dress.for that I ended up heading home.

Not wanting to tear up the pelt with the .308, I grabbed the .223 and squeezed one off, and watched in disbelief as the *)^#+~ bobcat ran off. You see, there's an enviromental factor called wind, which makes just a little bit of difference @ 375 yards. In addition, did you know these things can when spooked, leap 8-12 feet in the snow, going uphill.
Anyway, after crying on my towel, I headed to the far end of the "Range". Here's a view from 975, the targets are located on the edge of the timber in the distance. Yup, still winter here!
Well I hit a few, missed a few more, and moved a little closer to my steel.

Things improved, until I started shooting left handed, and while I got several hits on a 10-12” target, when I shot at the 6” diamond ones, things went to hell. To the guys I shot with on the res today.
Thanks, it was good to shoot without worrying about score or even hitting the target. With a group of guys that will whine with the best of them. But are willing to shut up and shoot!
Maybe next time we will organize it and gather some more good dope.

Not sure if this motivates/interests anyone but i was thinking of having a 308/223 suppressed only match sometime in the future.
I am well aware this will limit the shooters but i would really like to have a match with no earplugs all day it would just be killer!!

These have not been abused, and were always in the case to the range and thats it. I have ranged to 1760 with them off a truck and even cut through fog to 610yds when the Leicas and swaros could not. I was going to list at $675 but will knock $50 off for a SHWW deal. Thanks and pictures are available.</span>

I have used the mat once or twice at the range and there is some light dirt from where there was mud on it. This has been just sitting in the corner for the last year so its time to find a new home for it. Looking to get $275 and I will be at the Mar 4th match or I am located in/around Cle Elum/Ellensburg area. Pics are available.
