Thoughts?

So my buddy with a Nemesis .308 give me his old match brass to reload for my sub sonics and when i open the box I see this? One blown primer and 4 pierced primers and a bunch of bubbled primers.

Ammo is Hornady Superformance match 168gr .308 fired from very new Nemesis Arms .308 bolt gun?

From what I have read about this ammo it is loaded to shoot faster than your average round. Which means that it is going to be a higher pressure round than normal. Your chamber is probably a very tight chamber and these high pressures are popping primers would be my guess.

I had the same issue with this ammo in my Tac Ops... they cut close to the edge on SAAMI pressures, which means if you have a chamber that is minimum SAAMI or even less than SAAMI, the ammo is not a good combo with your rifle. I started a thread on this about 6 months ago. My ammo looked the same as yours. Ejector marks and popped primers.

i have used this ammo in a few and don't see these problems. i will definitely keep an eye on it though.
