I'm currently in the market for a different handgun. I have taken a great deal of interest in the Sig Sauer P250. I not only will use the gun for home defense but also love the modularity(real word?) of the pistol in question. During my time in the mil we were branded against the effectiveness of the 9mm but the prices here tell me it's worth it. I have and carry a full size kimber but like the sc features and caliber changabilty seem interesting. Can I get a few users to enlighten me on this pistol and help sway me in one way or the other. Mind you I do not wish to have a caliber discussion. Just please tell me if this pistol is a true Swiss army gun or a multi role good for nothing.
Thank you

Brian

Re: Opinions on SS P250

Got one about a year after they came out. I was a sig guy at the time and needed a new carry pistol. It was a junker, only gun I've ever sold. Stay away

Re: Opinions on SS P250

Why won't this pistol just die. There have been multiple agencies that have dropped this pistol due to reliability issues. This is a terrible pistol, the failures are well documented on the internet. Do a 5 minute google search and see why. Good luck on your new search for a pistol that is not the P250.

Re: Opinions on SS P250

Well 0 for 3 looks like I'm not even considering this pistol anymore. Thank you all.

Re: Opinions on SS P250

Good choice to avoid it. I had one and it is the only pistol I have ever sold. Frequent failures (multiples per magazine sometimes), brass ejecting right on top of my head, and the loooongest trigger pull of any weapon I have ever fired.
