Rifle Scopes My LMT Which NightForce ?

My LMT 308 MWSE will be delivered in the next 2 weeks, so I am told. I am torn between the NXS 5.5-22X50 and the NXS 3.5-15X50 both with the NP-R1 reticle. Also don't know whether to go with the 50mm or 56 mm objective lens. Any comments are appreciated
Jay @ Sport Optics treated me right on my last NightForce so I think I will try them again.

If you have to have moa, the 3-15 f1 with the NPR F1 reticle would be an awesome scope for your LMT. FFP is the way to go IMO.

Personally I like the F1 3-15mm with MLR2. I'd go F1.

I ordered my fisrt Night Force from Jay at Sports Optics and will buy from them again hands down. Its my first one and I went with the NSX 3.5-15X50 with the NPR 2 reticle. The bell of the scope on the 56 mm is a pretty good size ? I'm not sure how that would work with a set of low or medium rings on an AR with a monolithic type rail system versues a set of high rings and your cheek placement ect. Will you be putting a PRS stock on it?

Go with the 3.5x15x50. Think the 56 will be too big and you will have to use rings that are pretty high to make it fit. I use the NP-R2 myself. Jay's a good guy and will set you up right. My brother just bought one from him earlier this month.

As soon as my wife recovers from the cost of the LMT and the NightForce scope and mount i will be putting a PRS on it. Then I'll have to try thr sell the sopmod

I am using a 3.5x15 56mm on my GAP-10 using Night force ultralite unimount A191 ultralite unimount and it fits fine, alignment is good. It is a light gathering machine!

LOL well do you love your wife, or really want to send her over the edge lol. Good luck with the build and make sure when you do go for a PRS you make sure that you order the model for a .308 not a 5.56.

Thanks for the good luck wish. She is a great gal actually but I will wait until our anniversary comes up in September and ask for the PRS. As far as the 50mm vs the 56mm objective lens I think all of you who suggested the 50mm are correct. I know that there is a difference in the 223 vs the 308. Thanks for the advise. I went to the Sport Optics site and bookmarked the 308 3.5-15X550mm NXS. think the 56MM is a little over kill for the LMT. I can't wait until it gets here.

I have a NF 3.5-15x50 zerostop NP-R1 on my LMT 308 and love it, it's a nail driver! Jay helped me out as well. I also run the 20moa NF base uni-mount- and couldn't be happier.

I guess I should have added that I will be ordering the NXS 3.5-15X50 with ZS & HST. I ordered that combo on my NXS 5.5-22X50 as well and love it.
