have a SA rem with badger m5 DBM, and some areas I hunt require max 5 rd capacity. Anyone know of something other than AICS, or know how to mod the AICS to only hold 5. Seems like the polymer aics is not real mod friendly. thanks, John

Re: Any 5 Rd .223 mags for Badger M5?

why not pull the baseplate, put 4 rounds in the mag, measure from the bottom with the depth gauge on a set of calipers, and find where the bottom of the follower is with those 4 rounds loaded. Then move the depth gauge to the outside of the mag and mark it and drill a hole, put a cross pin in from each side and then go over it with a little epoxy and call it done. But make sure to pin it front and back of the mag so the follower wont tilt.
