    Surprise, AZ
I don't have my LMT MWS in my hands yet (another 10 Days) But I plan on installing a Magpul PRS stock. Does the MWS have the A2 components required to install the stock?
    Thanks in advance

I've been advised by TallShot:If your LMT is coming with the SOPMOD stock; then no. You'll have to get the appropriate buffer/spring/tube.

Can some one please advise me where I could get all the above parts I need in advance of my rifle arriving. I kind of new at this game of converting parts.
    Thanks,
    Santo

    Midway or Brownells

You need an AR-15 rifle lenght buffer tube
    A LR-308 rifle length buffer
And a LR-308 rifle length spring.

    DPMS makes all 3 parts.

    The word "rifle" is key.
    Don't get carbine parts.

Re: LMT MWS: Mounting Magpul PRS Stock Info Needed

When I put my "rifle" stock on my MWS, LMT didn't have the rifle .308 buffer. I got a heavy buffer from Slash, which, together with a dab of velcro on the deflector lump, saved a lot of wear and tear on my brass, as well as dampening the recoil some (with a .308 rifle of this weight, you really don't bother with the recoil, however) I have heard more than a few recommend the flat-wound spring... Good luck and have fun...

Re: LMT MWS: Mounting Magpul PRS Stock Info Needed

If I order the buffer/buffer spring/buffer tube extension/ from DPMS will they be the correct parts?
    Thanks for the help.

Yes, IF you order rifle length and specific for a 308 (except the tube)

Wouldn't the DPMS butt stock extension tube be correct as well or is it the wrong length?

And the CS flatwire spring will save your brass from denting all to hell. Its just a much better spring.

Re: LMT MWS: Mounting Magpul PRS Stock Info Needed

Where do you get the CS spring from?

Re: LMT MWS: Mounting Magpul PRS Stock Info Needed

What weight is the stock buffer?

What weight buffer does everyone recommend ?
