Lead times on LMT rifles

I had an order go in for a 16" CL MWSE with FDE plastic this week. The dealer said I'll see it in June.

Whats been the experience with LMT do they tell you the worst case and deliver faster?

Its only been a couple days but when I think about this rifle coming I feel like a puppy that wants to roll on his side and pee all over himself.

Your lucky, I just ordered last week an LM8 308MWS and was told 5 months.

I would say its more like tell you the best case and slower delivery. The last 308mws I received was about 3 weeks late and by the looks of things, its only gonna get worse.

I had my dealer order me an LMT MWS w/18" SS barrel the week before last and he was quoted 12-14 weeks (although I was told as many as 20 weeks when shopping around).

I was told that LMT quoted my dealer at 10 weeks for an 18" MWSS I pray this is true, as I only have 2 weeks left if this is valid

LMT seems to be as fair and honest as they can with Probabale delivery of there product
I lucked out and my dealer called with an LMT that a client could not finish the deal
So I ran up and picked it up
He was so cool and will keep my order for stock and let me walk out with a gun of my dreams (at least for awhile haha lol
The bad news is my order is 4 months to date and NOT in yet

The two rifles I've ordered via LMT were quoted 4-6 weeks both times. Both times they shipped in 4 weeks.

I'd say they're pretty accurate with their estimations.
