Sniper’s Hide members, I wanted to bring to your attention a good cause to help a former Marine sniper that I served with in Mogadishu while in 3/6 STA, Paul Michaels. Paul’s daughter, Sydney, has been diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome. The family is trying to raise money for medical expenses and to purchase a dog that has been trained to recognize and alert the family when she has seizures.

You can help Paul and his daughter by either making a donation here: Help 4 Sydney or even as simply as supporting companies like Dallas Guns by ‘Liking’ their Facebook page and letting them know you too support Sydney. Dallas Guns on FB

An anonymous person has even donated a rifle to the cause. Once I have more info, I will post here whether or not this rifle is going to be sold or raffled. All proceeds go to help Sydney. The rifle is a “…Savage Model 111 Long Range Hunter. The Caliber is 6.5x284, and it has the new Accustock, Accutrigger and adjustable muzzle brake.”
Savage Arms 6.5x284

Thanks to all who can help! Let’s not let this Marine down!

Re: Help 4 Sydney

I am in no financial position to help right now as we are trying to buy a house but I did like the FB page...

Re: Help 4 Sydney

I clicked the link for "Help 4 Sydney" and read some of her mom's blog, powerful stuff. I clicked the "donate" button.

Done deal and glad to help.
