I will be working up some loads for the new 300 grain 338 dia Accubond in my 338 Lapua. First impressions, it's a big bullet 8)
About 1.7380 long, the MK runs about 1.7220. .0160 longer for the AB.

yeah that might be a perfect ultra long range hunting bullet!!!

Alaska here we come, 338 edge and a 300 grain Accubond would be an absolute hammer on a bear!!!

Nice and long... too bad they didn't fix the stubby little tails characteristic of AB's.

The nose is short and tubby too, but with the plastic tip on there the reduced meplat size and consistency is going to assist and make up some of the lost ground there.

Jim, I've been using the 250gr in the .338 and it is spot on! Let me know what you get out of the 300gr

The BC sucks on em though. They did shoot ok though in my Edge. The Berger Hunting Hybrids will be out later this year.

Interested in the results you get Jim. I have a 338 Edge that I plan to try these bullets in also...
