Well I finally had a chance to break in the new stick. All I can say is what a shooter. If anyone is thinking of a GAP rifle, you will NOT be disappointed. The barrel break in did not take long at all, following the step by step instructions supplied by GAP. It wasn't as bad as a process as I thought. It took about 5 rounds to do, but I still did a few 5 shot groups as well. I used the Boretech copper remover as suggested. I did buy a Tipton universal bore guide as well.. I was less than impressed with that! I will be ordering the Boretech bore guide for sure.

I cant tank GAP enough Or Todd Jackson (30calsniper) for an outstanding paint job... This is my first and certainly not my last GAP Rifle... I am torn between doing a 6.5 x 47 Lapua in a clone M40A5 platform or do a hunting rig in 7mm wsm

Very sweet piece, and a nice group. I just "broke in" my new TRG-42. Nothing like those first few shots, with a new stick.

Yeah I had bought a cheap bore guide and the first time I used it I was bleh. So I ordered a possum hollow, now that is a serious bore guide. Excellent quality?

Keep your stupid range reports to yourself!!!! Ewwww look at me, I got a GAP!!!! Ok, all done being juvenile now:) I love everything about your rifle. I own 2 and really kick myself in the ass for not going with the camo you are fronting. There is not another feeling in the world like laying behind that new GAP for the first time. congradulations brother

I got the same Boretech Bore Guide for my GAP built .308. Once I got the guide, to make it a perfect fit I pulled off the rubber nose that fits in the bore after determining the proper length I wanted. I used a small pipe cutter to remove an inch or so. Once that was done I glued the rubber piece back on and it works perfect. Nice rig and very nice shooting. Good luck.

A big yes sir to that brother!!!! Working on get brass ready to re load last night. Since my reloading shop is not finished, I made a makeshift setup to get by on... I need to find some kind of portable solution to my rock chucker... Hmmm, if its a slow day in the office, I'll google some ideas. I am thinking of a raised base like my Dillon RL550 has...

better give specs. barrel stock action scoPE etc.

guessing TRued rem action with 22" bartlein barrel in manners t4 stock with night force moa/moa npr1 high speed 3.5-15 and Harris???

I'm in the Lake George Area. That is Dunhams Bay club. They are looking to expand to 400 yards. They mentioned this at a meeting this past Saturday

Haha, alway's glad to help take a few years of a life. Who knows maybe your wife will sell me that GAP cheap!!! JK brother, hope you live to use that turd as a crutch. I really do however hate you for fronting that badass camo. I so wish I would have went that route. Just can't bring myself to change it now, all money goes towards reload shit, I'm sure you understand.

Ga... I think my next one is going to be in Green Gap... Or multicam... That thing is too heavy for a crutch! Im pretty set on reloading gear, although there are always new toys I want. Thinking of the new Lock n load case trimmer. Looks better than my RCBS prep center. Also, I NEED a chrono BAD!!! I want the CED M2
