We are in the final stages of our Pocket Data Book. This is a great piece of gear for anyone who takes a rifle in the field. It has been tested by units over the last few months. Here is a picture of it in a large size stock pack, to show its convenient size.

The Pocket Data Book was very well received at SHOT show. Here is another pic of the book being evaluated by a Scout Sniper at camp pen.

One of our biggest considerations was to make the book smaller without making everything inside so small as to be unusable. We did this by 'leaning out' everything possible, and by putting the info across both sides of the book where needed.

Our goal was to give it most of the content of the larger books, but smaller in size, and lower in cost. This book is being specifically designed for military snipers, but future editions could contain info tailored for others, such as tactial competitors, etc.

Here is an early prototype pic, showing inside front cover page with ruler, and a Mildot Reticle hold page. The font and boxes are very easy too see and use. They are the same size as the content in the 6 ring RnR books we have been providing for many years.

I'll take some better pics ASAP, and post them up.

I was at Camp Pendleton last week, we are in final stages as to page count and content. Then they are off to the print shop!

For the regular paper ones we are looking at $16.95 ea. We are trying to make these super affordable, and the interest since SHOT show has been huge.

For Rite in Rain pricing, I still have to get quote from them. It will be higher than the standard paper books.

That could be a possibility down the road. For now we are working on the coil version for the military, then the civ version, which will have more pages than the mil ones.

I like the coil version. I can rip out whatever pages I won't use, but don't have to mess around with a binder, breaking those little rings etc.

Also agree with a package deal with the cover. Enough space for a Mil-Dot Master and FDAC and a pen would be tits!

Just out of curiosity, are there going to be any landscape pages in the book? When I do field sketches and such it's a lot easier if it's in landscape. Also easy if dope card is landscape on top, while range card or field sketch is on bottom. This a possibility at all? Just what I'm used to.

I hope this is big enough to house the FDAC and Mildot Master. The 4x6 Rite in the Rain cover is big enough for this and would require the book be a top flip.

I emailed him about doing a simpler version of the prototype he sent me. I also would like them to be large enough to house the book and a mildot master / FDAC inside.

These books just arrived from the print shop last week, and we are already sending them to customers in the US and Afghanistan.

I bought two a couple of weeks ago and used it up at the Mammoth Cave Match. I loved the compactness and ease of use. Looking forward to the covers. Also is it possible to get Hard Rock data sheets made?

The first print run sold out, but we got more in today just in time. These weigh under 5 oz and are a great compact size, plus the great introductory price. Scale next to an extra fine sharpie, and RnR 3x5 norebook. Thank you.

We have the covers on order. We are also ordering a Rite in Rain version of the Pocket Data Books. They are being made in the USA by Rite in the Rain, like our larger books and covers. ETA this summer. Thanks for the great feedback, the pocket books are being very well received.
