Right where I need to be.
First of all a thanks to all of you that have busted they butts, logging data, posting the pros and cons of this and that, and for taking the time to share it.

And from all the reading, I just got done ordering my parts for my first budget rifle. Here are a list of parts.

Caliber - 260AI ( just cause I wanted something different )
Action - FN SPR , with 20 MOA rail
Barrel - Bartlein 28" 8 twist
Stock - Richards Micro Fit ( Bench Mark )
Scope - Sightron SIII 6x24x50 LRMD
Rings - Burris Xtreme
Bipod - 6-9 Harris
Mags - 4 & 10 round FN

So far I am for $1500.

This is going to be my first ground up build. I needed something a little bigger and with a little more range than my AR, so what the hell. Once I get everything in and put together, I'll post up some pic.

Mainly this is being built to hunt coyotes with, but I am planning on going over to range 4 in Butner to try my hand at a grand. I mean it's only 5 minutes from the house.

Mean while, what's your thoughts.

Re: My 260AI Build

Here is what the stock looks like now. We are going to cut and add an adjustable check piece, along with some shaving around the grip to add some palm swell. I might even cut in a hook in the bottom , I just don't know what it is use for other than looks.
