So just after my 48th birthday, I became a father for the first time (Mom is 35). Welcome to the world Constantine (Costya) and Dmitri (Dima). Now I have to go shopping for new rifles.

    Wow, congrats!

Looks like they're pretty big so their stay in the NICU should be short (wife is a NICU nurse) hopefully just a few months. That UV light treatment is amazing. I'll never get over the forehead IVs though.

Awesome, they look to be around ~30 weeks? Good deal, looks like a good couple of feeder-growers you've got there. Congrats again! They'll be outta there before you know it.

Yes it is. Big 'ol badass Yasherka damn near cries when his first son pops out.

As a side note, there were 11 people in the operating room during the delivery not including me and Mrs. Yasherka (they were expecting to have to do a c-section), several were nursing students. During the festivities one of the students ran out and hid. It was a bit bloody.

Congrats!!! The birth of a child, or children in your case, is a wonderful thing. Hope all is well with mom and the babies have a speedy growth and get to go home soon.
