Update

God's love is upon us.

From my mom:

"Dad just got his room and he’d CALL in a bit, so that’s great, hopefully the blood thinner has …..he just called me and sounded WONDERFUL!!! I only heard a tiny slur. SUPER NEWS!!! I’ll text tomorrow AM."

I don't have words other than thank you and I am so grateful for this outpouring of support.

TPA is great stuff. Have seen amazing things, nearly a miracle.
And I will admit I pray every time I give it that it works!

Key with a solid stroke center is they should do all the tests and have answers in 25-36 hrs about the cause.
Blood work, echo c bubble, US of carotids if CTA of neck wasnt clear enough, etc.



18+ yrs ago I was blessed to be part of the journey to my work becoming a comprehensive stroke center.
Last week saw a lady arrive less than 30 min of onset of symptoms with an NIH stroke scale score of 28.
TNK and then Neuro IR with 3 vessel thrombectomy (2 got 2 passes).
Next day her NIH was 4, mild facial droop, slight slur, and super minimal weakness.
