I would think you could skip the targets that are too far for ya but, we'll have to wait for Wayde or Tom to chime in to be sure. I wouldn't think you'd lay down at position 1 and engage stage 1 Intimidator and the ELR targets in one string. That would be WAY too much shooting. The barrel would get too hot.

I pm'ed Wayde, but he won't be there and he said he doesn't know how Tom will have it set up.
Mark and I will be there Saturday for the HH, and we were going to stay and shoot Sunday if we can shoot the Intimidator targets only.

I was hoping to make the newbie shoot in May but I have to teach a handgun class that day. I shouldn't say I have to, because it's something I truly enjoy. I WILL make it out there before the year is out.

I'd like to vote for at least one intimidator match on a Sunday every month. Either on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd Sunday to be exact

I thought that's what the newbie shoot is all about. IMHO, TVP is a great place to learn to shoot in the wind. Hopefully, someday I'll figure it out too.

Skigolfmike- I agree with you 100% but would like to have a bit more experience with wind before we make the 1800 mile round trip from WI. If TVP was a hop, skip, and a jump away (vs. 1800 miles) it looks to be a great place to start to learn how to dope the wind.

The wind is like a woman... When you think you have her all figured out and get cocky she'll change on you and if your not careful may cut off your crank like pore Mr. Bobbit ....

Wind, man.... now another thing to have to worry about along with spin drift, polar alignment, coriolis effect and all the other important stuff to figure out before yanking on the go lever.
Oh well, maybe someday get it all figured out.

Great weather at TVP today,got some good practice in and had a good time as usual. Thanks again Karl for lettin me shoot that Hulk...its badass!

Great shooting today Andy BTW. I got some practice in too. Mostly, I learned more things not to do. Still beats staying home and mowing the grass.

Had great weather and just a touch of wind today at Thunder Valley, and only six shooters! Everyone who didn't make it is going to have some explaining to do! Even the ticks made a good showing. See everyone next time!

hey wayde, what's this ELR course I keep hearing about?...by the way, I just completed a MK12 MOD 0 build, I'll send some pics your way once my NF shows up! Great rifle for the short course....now if I only wasn't moving to Yuma next month, damn! But there is a 1000yd range 10 miles outside of town so I'll survive, but I'll be lost without the crazy wind, weather and ticks of TVP. Not to mention the great people who run the place and shoot there!

Wayde, TAM and I will be there either the 26th or the 27th! So freakin pumped!! We were able to secure a babysitter so we both could come down lol...Hopefully you will be there both days so we don't miss ya! let me know who all is headed in for that weekend.
