After much deliberation and practice on old ar grips, I finally worked up the courage to stipple my g19c. Took about 3 1/2 hours to do, half of which had my hand cramping...
On my Glock, I eliminated the rear gap in the magwell and stippled that part over. It gives a much better purchase to the grips. Nice job, but it sure sounds like very tedious work.

So you think you will make 100 before you get a time out??
I ended up using some pretty fine sandpaper and going over it to smooth it out a little bit, especially under the trigger guard. I'm thinking about taking a crack at another glock I own.
Thanks. I definitely encourage anyone looking to do this on their own to practice on something else first (I used the old ar grips), because there was definitely a learning curve... or at least for me.
