Does anyone know if the HDMR with the 10 mil turrets is available? If so where?

I keep seeing all these pictures of it floating around, but have no idea where to get it. I ordered one that was supposed to be the "NEW" model and I was assured that it had 10 mil turrets, but upon opening the box it had 5 mil turrets. I am not really mad because these are bad ass scopes, but I would really like to get my hands on the new model.

Thanks

The nobs will be huge with 10 mils on them.

Just turn the nob twice, I think the spaceing on the 5 mil nobs is perfect.

Negative. Do not talk about what you do not know. I've SEEN AND HELD a prototype and the prototype knob was actually smaller than the 5 mil knob.

Oh, I do like. I would like to play with the 10 mil knobs. The fives have worked well, and I don't mind their obnoxious huge size. Kinda cool really. But 10 would be simpler for 308.

Are you yelling at me.
It was a joke.
Prototype is just that, dose not mean it is end proudct.

No, I am not yelling at you. And yes, the "prototype" is physically exactly how it will look in production.

Re: Bushnell HDMR with 10 mil turrets

Semi old bump. I am ready to buy one, just cant decide if I should wait a little longer for the new version.

Re: Bushnell HDMR with 10 mil turrets

Pray tell, what is the "new" HDMR version? B/C I'm getting ready to order one too.

Re: Bushnell HDMR with 10 mil turrets

The thread tells all. 10 mils per rev compared to 5. Sounds like smaller turrets also even though the link to the pics doesn't work anymore.

Re: Bushnell HDMR with 10 mil turrets

i LOVE my HDMR with the 5mil/rev turrets, i can't really imagine that i'd really care for the 10mil/rev over my 5mil/rev.

Unfortunately most of my shooting is limited to the F T/R and FPR matches but with my current setup my correction is typically 5.1-5.4 range depending on load and weather in my .308. I can see where maybe in a Tactical match with distances stretching out to 1k that it could be somewhat handy, but for my money i'd rather see a zero stop feature on the current turrets than "high speed" turrets...

Re: Bushnell HDMR with 10 mil turrets

I would be far more impressed if Bushnell decided to support it's current installed base. I have a 5 mil DMR G2 that has been back to Bushnell and allegedly "meets spec". The glass is horrible. There is evidence that I'm not the only customer that feels this way. The generosity of their acceptance criteria is reminiscent of Leupold... and that has not gone over so well here. So far I am less than impressed with Bushnell's "Bulletproof Warranty".

Adding "bells and whistles" to a scope line that would appear to be out of control is a waste of time in my mind. Get your product stabilized and your installed base happy.... then add features.

Re: Bushnell HDMR with 10 mil turrets

I do agree with that. Try to have them all held to a certain standard. I don't think $1250 to $1500 scopes should be luck of the draw and it seems some are like that as of right now. I have seen reviews at both ends of the spectrum from well known members as far as optical quality goes with them. I also agree that some kind of zero stop would be great.

Re: Bushnell HDMR with 10 mil turrets

Are they available with 10mil turrets yet?

Anyone heard any rumors on Bushnell adding zero stops and illumination? Or possibly a similar featured scope in a lower power range? I like my Elite Tactical 3-12 on my .223, but would much prefer a locking turret... and zero stops would be a bonus as well.

Any new models will be commercially available around March 2013
