I recently purchased a 40x 22lr from an individual which has a fairly nice stock on it. It appears to be original wood but refinished nicely. I intended to put a synthetic stock on it but when I went to clean the rifle the other day, I found out it was glued into the stock..... is there any way to remove the action without damage to the stock or action? Or, do I just get out the hammer and chisel??
