Hey all,

Does anyone know which, if any, of the three 40xb Centerfire stocks with Model #'s 1148110, 1165900, and 834370 are inletted for a standard Remington BDL bottom metal?

I sent Numrich an e-mail with my question and they sent me an automated e-mail back saying I need to register for their own forum to ask questions...

I figured somebody here may know the answer to my question. They don't exactly give very many specifics on the differences between the stocks they sell.

Can anyone help me out with this?

Thanks in advance,

-Dylan

Re: Numrich "40xb Centerfire" Stock Question

I purchased one of these to have inletted to a DBM style stock, the rail cut relief comes back into the mag area so the rail will have to be cut also. I was gonna cut my vintage 40X stock to one of my rifles but figured this might be a better route so I can sell my 40X with the original stock when I do sell it.

Poke,

Do you by any chance remember which part number the stock you ordered was?

Thanks,
Dylan

Re: Numrich "40xb Centerfire" Stock Question

It was the $61.00 one, figured for $61 plus shipping it would have to be pretty bad not to be usable...

Re: Numrich "40xb Centerfire" Stock Question

Yes, that one is the single shot model. I agree with you on the price though, they're a hell of a good deal as long as they're relatively solid... How long did they take to ship? I'm thinking about just ordering all three I am asking about and making small projects out of them.

Re: Numrich "40xb Centerfire" Stock Question

That's exactly what I wanted to hear! Thank you guys for posting!

Edit: Does anyone else have info on the 40xb stocks from Numrich, specifically if any have inletting for a floorplate bottom metal?

Re: Numrich "40xb Centerfire" Stock Question

The only ones going to be inletted for a bottom metal most likely will be a synthetic. I think you will need to look in the 40XR category for this.
