Suppressors Lobbying for Oklahoma Suppressor Bill

Re: Lobbying for Oklahoma Suppressor Bill

Just spoke on the phone with Sen Russell. It passed out of the Senate today and is going to the House. Once they read it and vote on it then it's off to Gov Fallin!!!

Re: Lobbying for Oklahoma Suppressor Bill

UPDATE: just heard from Rep. Osborn and the bill is on the House agenda to be heard. Good news. Cross your fingers that everyone that voted for it the first time hasn't changed their minds.

Re: Lobbying for Oklahoma Suppressor Bill

Watching live (really bored) looks like they have six bills to get to before 1743. Looks like it's going to be a looooooooooong night at the capital.

Re: Lobbying for Oklahoma Suppressor Bill

OK LSB go to house video.

They just adjourned until 9 a.m. I don't believe they heard our bill. Hope it gets picked up in the a.m.

Re: Lobbying for Oklahoma Suppressor Bill

Well we're still on the agenda

But it's second to last and they keep adding bills. I hope this it's a sneaky trick to not hear the bill, but say they tried.

You can watch the circus live here

Re: Lobbying for Oklahoma Suppressor Bill

Well it passed the house but now looks like it's going back to the senate, Osborn added a floor amendment removing the extra fee to get your license back should you slip up.

she told me that it is headed to Gov Fallin. I asked specifically about this and this was her reply, "Not true, no amendments, headed to the Governor."

Re: Lobbying for Oklahoma Suppressor Bill

I guess I better get the 243 to Beanland so he can thread it for my suppressor....now that we can hunt with them, when I get my SAS Arbiter, it will live permanently on my 243.

True. They can't add any more amendments this time around.

Re: Lobbying for Oklahoma Suppressor Bill

Am glad she signed it. Great step for suppressor owners. Now we can shoot something other than paper.
