Re: What is it?

I'm looking into the Midway Pro mat. It's got good reviews and is fairly cheap. I'm currently shooting off a piece of carpet. It beats laying on concrete for the moment.

Re: What is it?

I use the creedmoor padded mat. Buddy just got one with the white pads and lighter top. Shows the dirt more but on a hot ass day shooting slow prone in the sun it makes a big difference

TAB. This mat can be rolled up to the size of a coffee can and strapped to your backpack and carried easily. Deployed easy and it's light. I have drag bag mat as well but it's not always as easy to carry.

Re: What is it?

another vote for the midway mat. it has straps sewn in at the front so you can preload your bipod. also, its tough enough to keep rocks from poking you, but still pretty soft.

Re: What is it?

I just got the MidwayUSA mat the one for $50. Its really nice. The padding is real thick and its actually really comfortable, you could sleep on this thing. I would have to say its the best mat for the money. Anything comparable is over $150.

It also has a strap to pre load your bipod which is the reason I chose this one. My bipod feet kept slipping and moving forward. This eliminated that problem.

Another vote for the Midway Pro mat. Very comfortable, reinforced, and I do use the front straps for the bipod- great.
