Nice. Good luck to ya. I am gonna try for a deer tag next year. One of the guys I work with is a big time hunter. I hear he likes teaching newbies like me.

Wow. It took 15 years. I am new to hunting. Is that normal? Or was that some special area? Is that just Nevada?
I thought buck tags could be purchased at 7/11? I am hoping to move to CO this year and go hunting next year. Am I going to need to put in for tags for 10 years to go hunting elk?

A guy I work with bought 5 ticketsfrom the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (I "think") Elk lottery. He told me if he draws one, he's going to sell it for $35,000.00-$40,000.00 (according to him, people pay that much for a tag)and encouraged me to do the same.
Words can't describe what I think of that. Yes, if he draws one, it's his tag and he can do what he wants with it. But just like DeadNoise, there are people who have been waiting 15 years+ to a lifetime to draw one of those.
If I'm not going to use it, I don't put in for it.
