Rifle Scopes Mil. discounts? Which companies?

Re: Mil. discounts? Which companies?

I believe Liberty optics gives hide member 10 off.
If you're interested in an SWFA scope the facebook promo can't be beat.

Re: Mil. discounts? Which companies?

Check out Promotive.com they offer discounts from a bunch of different vendors for being LE/Mil. I think Bushnell, Leupold, and maybe even Zeiss are on there depending on who you work for.

This. The Bushnell discounts aren't really discounts but the Leupold one is nice.

Re: Mil. discounts? Which companies?

Yep Promotive is nice, lots of different stuff. Definately worth checking out.

I forgot to add in that part. There are quite a few brands on there that their "discount" is within a few dollars of what you can buy them other places on the internet. Worth checking out though.

Re: Mil. discounts? Which companies?

cabela's gives us a 10% discount and they do carry NF and other high end optics.

Re: Mil. discounts? Which companies?

Schmidt and Bender also gives a discount to Mil.

Re: Mil. discounts? Which companies?

Leupy supposedly gives a handy discount to mil/le...if they ever answer email or answer the phone.

Register for an account with Promotive.com. You'll be able to order from Leupold, and a wide range of other outdoor and recreational gear at discounted prices.

Re: Mil. discounts? Which companies?

A year or so ago I called Leupold and got the official run around. A month ago I called and everything had changed. They were fast and responsive. I think they have seriously upped their game both in fed/mil/le support to coincide with what looks like some serious offereings compared to what they were selling a few years ago.

Re: Mil. discounts? Which companies?

+1 on Leupold. I just got mine from them with a nice discount and super fast turnaround.

Re: Mil. discounts? Which companies?

If you call Nightforce direct, they do like vortex does and do offer significant discounts if you are Mil/LE. And Leupold has drastically turned around MIL/LE support. I went that route and i am deeply impressed. got exactly what i wanted at a great price, and had it in my hands in under 18 hours from minute i purchased. cant speak well enough of their CS when they worked with me.

Re: Mil. discounts? Which companies?

NF has been awesome to work with if you are MIL, but nobody does what vortex does for MIL/LEO.

Re: Mil. discounts? Which companies?

Bushnell direct gives a decent discount. Not as good as it was about 7 months ago (they raised their prices), but still a better price than you'll find their products for anywhere else.

Burris has a discount- though when you price shop you can find stuff for less than their "discounted" price

USO has one as does NF and Vortex

Atlas gives mil pricing and they give mil-orders priority. Seekins has a mil-discount when you order direct... but be warned, they are a busy group and your order will typically take a while to get sent out.

Daniel defense has a discount... ummm... I know there are more... Oh, Brownell's will give your account distributor pricing (which I believe a lof of their stuff is over priced to start, so it brings it down to a fair price).

I've found even some places that don't usually give military discounts will arrange something nice for you if you ask.

But, I always make it VERY clear that I'm asking just to see if it's something they offer, not because I feel entitled, and I always make it clear I buy based upon what I want and the features a product has- weather they have a mil-discount or not has no effect on if I buy or not.

Truth is, we are not entitled anything... Those that do it just go above and beyond... and if I like their products, that will likely factor in down the road if a similar product appears and I have to decide between the company who has gone above and beyond for me before and the new guy on the block. So while the discount itself wont be a factor in getting me as a customer, it will always be something I remember when some competition comes along that may tempt me to change brands on an otherwise equal product. And of course, the discounts do at times bring an item/company in the running that I simply could not have afforded otherwise; so the discount factors in when I look at cost, but I don't decided BASED on the fact of discount or not. If that make sense to everyone. I just wanted to put that out there because the good thing we have going will disappear very quickly if we start to act like it's something we are entitled to.

Do you have to call and order from them directly?

Re: Mil. discounts? Which companies?

Would someone be willing to PM me the Nightforce or S & B or USO mil discount and procedures? I have used Promotive before and was happy with Leupold. I ALS believe they may have changed from 1 scope per year to 3 the way they have changed wording.

Re: Mil. discounts? Which companies?

Gimpy, with NF you just call customer service number on their website and the operator will get you to the right person.
