As the stated I am looking for a drop-in oversized bolt handle for my 455, does anyone out there know where I could find one?

Re: Drop-in CZ 455 Tactical Bolt Handle?

haven't found any, but would be an excellent product to be added to anyone's inventory.

drop in sort of like the savage centerfire bolt handles - 5 minutes and no gunsmithing....yeah i'd buy one of those.

i did find this: http://ab-tactical.com/CZ%20BOLT%20EXTENSIONS.html, but it is a bit fugly IMO

i think right now you have to do the traditional cut off, thread, and put on one of the seemingly endless aftermarket knobs.

i'll be heading down the same road as you in a few weeks, although i wanted to do my 455 "right", i may go back to this:

spare regular ones for 452/ 453 don't know if they'll fit the 455:

there are a few leads here:

but would be nice to be able to go back to the original 455 configuration by just changing out the handle section

Haha, very fugly. I think we just may have to develop a new product here. As you said predator, it would be very nice to be able to go back to the stock config, I didn't even think of that I was just being lazy and didn't want to deal with threading it.

Here is my 455. It is an American, I put a Boyd's tacticool stock that I had to inlet and glass bed to make work. Then I threw a DIP scope base on it. If I were to do it again I would do a Varmint and get the extended DIP base.

not a drop in replacement but Hooper, here on the hide, will put a badger knob on a CZ bolt.

I think if I went thread on I would do a Kampfeld hunter or campfire knob, a little more manageable for the wee smallbore.

Kampfeld Custom Bolt Knobs

I like the smaller knob ...... do you know if Kampfeld will install on a CZ

Right now he is busy and only doing Remington bolts I believe.
