I read a lot about this rifle around the time of the SHOT show but not much since. Are they actually available and shipping yet?

Not sure but when I spoke to them at Shot Show, they said fall time frame.

A few keep popping up on Gunbroker. The LMT website says 20 weeks from date of order.

The LM8s in the wild are a little different than the one seen during SHOT show. It has slant cuts on both the top and bottom of the hand guard.
