Has anyone used Lapua 300 WSM brass in an AR yet?
How did it hold up at the .200" line? Quite a bit of expansion, or no?
Since the WSM brass is .555", did it need to be re-sized by a .550" RUM or Nosler sizing die, to get the .200" line down so it could be chambered?
My Nosler and Norma brass does need to be sized down with a .550" RUM die.....the ADG I don't use in an AR anymore.
I've actually had problems with ADG WSM brass in an AR. It didn't want to size down very well, and it had shavings/flakes in the chamber area, that ultimately caused jams.
My best luck has been with Nosler believe it or not... no problem sizing down with a RUM die, and no shavings...with Norma being second
But before I drop the $ on Lapua brass, I want to see if anyone has had good luck with it in a WSM AR.
Thanks
