Re: ar15 trigger questions HELP!!!

Don't get an AR Gold trigger. Get a Geissele and your problem is solved.

Yes you need the small trigger pins for the Spike's. Geissele or Timney will work great.

The old Colt lower have large pins but have switched to small pins.

Re: ar15 trigger questions HELP!!!

wow, that was easy convincing! lol

jokes aside, you are getting a great trigger that is going to last and out-perform your stock trigger. enjoy!

which model do you go with, by the way?

Re: ar15 trigger questions HELP!!!

well did some research online and called the manufacturer, i ordered the hi speed national match, the lady i talked to said that if it was to light for my needs just give them a call and they would send me the 3 springs i needed to change to make it not as light for free, with customer service like that and their reviews i didnt figure i could go wrong

Re: ar15 trigger questions HELP!!!

I would pick an AR Gold over a geiselle every day of the week

+1

Re: ar15 trigger questions HELP!!!

I run geissele DMR in my OBRs and an Sd3 in the others.
Very good triggers IMHO

Re: ar15 trigger questions HELP!!!

Geissle is my pick. I run the SSA triggers , however the NM trigger should be great for your needs.

Re: ar15 trigger questions HELP!!!

Just put a RRA NM trigger in my AR and I'm enjoying the upgrade.

Re: ar15 trigger questions HELP!!!

Someone hit me if I start putting shiny golden parts on my rifle.

Re: ar15 trigger questions HELP!!!

I have two Jewell triggers on Colt ARs and I like both a lot, one of each small and large pins, one of the things I like about Jewell is how easy it is to adjust them if you go from target shooting from a bench to hunting ( from 1.5 lb. to 3.5 lb ) not that you have to do it but it's nice to have the option if you prefer to do so.
